How to Enroll in the Nursing Assistant Course
- Apply to the Nursing Assistant Program
- Under "Academic Programs," select Nursing Assistant as your program choice and pick the semester you wish to begin.
- Under "Academic Programs," select Nursing Assistant as your program choice and pick the semester you wish to begin.
- Provide one of the following to meet course pre-requisites:
- Obtain a copy of your high school transcript with a posted cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better
- -OR- Obtain a copy of your ACT scores if the assessment was taken within the last 5 years
- -OR- Schedule a placement assessment (select "all subjects")
- Transcripts and/or ACT score reports can be sent to admissions@mstc.edu ahead of time OR brought to your scheduled orientation date.
- Students cannot enroll in the course without a transcript or assessment scores on file.
- Some students may be required to work with staff in our Academic Learning Center or through their high school if minimum requirements are not met.
- Once you have submitted your application AND have copies of your high school transcript or test scores, RSVP to attend a Nursing Assistant Orientation Session selecting from dates below.
- Students can attend an orientation on any campus, not just the campus where they plan to take the course.
